In Waterbury yesterday, a woman left her toddler in the car while proceeding in to 90s Nails, Tan and Spa to get a manicure. The woman has been arrested and the baby is currently in the custody of DCF.
Only one word is needed as a response to that; WOW! I don't know about you, but i am so fed up with these so-called "parents" who couldn't care less about their kids unless someone is complimenting them about how cute they are.
How many stories have you heard about someone leaving a child or animal in the vehicle and dying from heat stroke? This isn't some unheard of occurence that would be unpredictable. There have been numerous cases of this over the years, yet you decide to gamble and play Russian Roulette with your babies life?
Just a day prior to this incident, the National Weather Service's official national high was 93 degrees at Bradley International Airport(Hartford-Springfield.) A national high of 93 degrees, the day before, and yet you still have no concern for leaving your baby alone in a hot car? Smart.
I think you should spend a little less time on your nails and a little more time studying up about safe sex because obviously that's a subject that went way over your head in school.
If you aren't ready for the responsibilities of being a parent and you don't know how to put the safety of another life ahead of the beauty of your own then please do not reproduce. You do not deserve to be a parent and your child does not deserve to die as a result of your negligence and ignorance.
